Final 2022 Rankings Feature #1 Singles and Doubles Team


Chapel Hill, N.C. – Fiona Crawley is ranked No. 1 in the nation by the ITA. Coming off of winning the Women’s Singles Championships at both the All-American Championships as well as the National Fall Championships, marking the first time this feat had been accomplished since 2016.
 
She is joined in the rankings by Abby Forbes (No. 5), Carson Tanguilig (No. 8), Anika Yarlagadda (No. 18), Reilly Tran (No. 48) and  Elizabeth Scotty (No. 58) all ranked in singles.
 
The doubles pairing of Fiona Crawley / Carson Tanguilig also top the charts at No. 1 in the nation. Ranked in the Top 20 is the paring of Carson Tanguilig / Reilly Tran coming in at No. 16 after the fall season.
 
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (“ITA”) has released today the NCAA Division I Women’s ITA Collegiate Tennis National Rankings sponsored by Tennis-Point which feature the Top 125 singles players and the Top 60 doubles teams at the conclusion of the fall season.
 
The Tar Heels will open up the spring season on January 13, 2022 taking on the Phoenix of Elon. Check back to GoHeels.com for schedule and location of matches.
