DURHAM – No. 13 Duke men’s tennis heads to Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday to face off against No. 4 TCU at 2 p.m. (1 p.m. CT) in the NCAA Super Regionals at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

TCU will provide live stats and live video for the match with addition coverage on Cracked Racquets via its CrossCourt Cast coverage.  

 

In the event of inclement weather, any unfinished courts will be moved to the indoor Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

TICKETS

Same-day, general admission tickets for the Super Regional are $5. Fans can purchase tickets in one of two ways; online on the TCU tickets page on GoFrogs.com or in person at the gate (card only).

DUKE IN THE NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP

For the 31st time in program history, Duke is competing in the NCAA Team Championship and own an all-time NCAA Team Championship ledger of 52-30. Duke has advanced as far as the quarterfinals, reaching the round of eight in 1993, 1994, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2012 and 2013. Duke head coach Ramsey Smith has guided the Blue Devils to the NCAA Team Championship in 13 of his 16 seasons in Durham, including back-to-back quarterfinal appearances in 2012 and 2013.

INSIDE LOOK AT THE BLUE DEVILS

Duke enters its super-regional match with a 20-9 overall ledger, including wins in eight of its last 10 matches. All-ACC selections Garrett Johns and Pedro Rodenas lead the Blue Devils this season as both are listed in the most recent ITA rankings at No. 21 and No. 43, respectively. Johns holds a 16-5 dual mark this year, including a 9-4 record against nationally ranked opponents. Rodenas leads Duke with an 18-9 dual ledger and an 11-7 record against nationally ranked foes. Additionally, the duo team up in doubles play to make up the No. 1 team nationally. The pairing is 20-3 this dual season, with a 14-2 ledger against nationally ranked opponents. They also bring a 12-match winning streak into the contest.
