Duke Adds Six Additional Transfers to Complete Eight-Member Newcomer Class

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke head coach Ramsey Smith and the men’s tennis program have announced the addition of six transfer student-athletes to close out its eight-member 2024-25 class.

The group is comprised of juniors Sam Landau (Indiana University) and Gerard Planelles Ripoll (University of Arkansas) and graduate students Oscar Brown (University of Portland), Remy Dugardin (Edhec Business School), Andreja Petrovic (Florida State University) and Theo Winegar (Columbia University). They hail from two states (California and Florida) and four countries (England, France, Norway and Spain).

The newcomers join previously announced freshman Saahith Jayaraman (JMG Tennis Academy) and sophomore Cooper Williams (Harvard University) as the eight new faces on the upcoming 2024-25 roster.

“TJ (Pura), Jay (Lapidus), and I are fired up to welcome this entire recruiting class to the Duke Tennis Family,” Smith said. “This special group of young men bring individual and unique strengths to our program, and collectively they are aligned with our bold vision for Duke Tennis. They share a love of hard work which will create a fun and energetic practice environment and have already embraced our ‘Team First’ mindset. This is an exciting time for our program.”
