Ducks Unveil 2023 Spring Schedule

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon head women’s tennis coach Courtney Nagle announced the team’s spring schedule Wednesday, which gets underway Jan. 20 at home against Portland State.
 
The Ducks’ 22-match schedule consists of 13 home matches at the Student Tennis Center (STC) and nine total matches against teams that made the 2022 NCAA Tournament. Oregon will play seven non-conference home matches and six Pac-12 matches in the STC.
 
After a pair of home matches to start the year, UO will head to Stillwater, Okla. for the ITA Kickoff Weekend, taking on Oklahoma State in the first match before playing either Kansas or Michigan the following day. The Ducks and Wolverines met in the first round of the NCAA Tournament a season ago, while all four teams headed to Stillwater qualified for the postseason.
 
Oregon also travels to Santa Barbara, Calif. to take on Mississippi State and 2022 tournament team UC Santa Barbara in late February before starting conference play. The Ducks’ Pac-12 schedule begins with a trip to Arizona (March 3) and Arizona State (March 5) before returning home to host Colorado and Utah on March 17 and March 19, respectively.
 
Oregon closes its regular season slate with four consecutive home matches against NCAA Tournament foes in Stanford, California, UCLA and USC.
 
In total, the Ducks’ schedule features 11 matches against teams that finished in the ITA’s final rankings (top 75). UO checked in at No. 38 in the final ITA poll after earning its ninth NCAA Tournament bid and first since the 2018 season.
