EUGENE, Ore. – The 2022 fall men’s tennis schedule kicks off this weekend with a pair of tournaments.
Returners Luke Vandecasteele and Avi Shugar are joined by newcomers August Gustafson and Russell Soohoo in the Dar Walter’s Classic, taking place in Boise, Idaho. The Ducks will face opponents from Boise State, Eastern Washington, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Utah State.
The first major tournament of the season, the ITA All-American Championships, take place October 1-9 in Tulsa, Okla. Individuals from across the country will compete, with Oregon being headlined by the No. 5 doubles team in the country, Joshua Charlton and Quinn Vandecasteele. Freshman Vlad Breazu looks to make a splash, while returners Ivailo Keremedchiev and Jesper Klov-Nilsson are ready to showcase their offseason improvements in the tournament.
