Novak Djokovic is back in action in Australia, the country that famously deported him in 2022, but he may not be allowed back into the United States this spring.
The United States has extended its vaccine requirement for foreign travelers, meaning that non-citizens must provide proof of two vaccinations to enter the United States, until at least April 10.

It means that Djokovic may not be granted entry into the United States for Indian Wells and Miami in 2023. It isn’t clear if – or when – things might change, and Djokovic will certainly be hoping for a change so that he can return to the U.S. to participate in the US Open series, which begins in July/ August.
