Crawley, Forbes & Patel Win Titles At Furman Fall Classic

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Fiona Crawley, Abbey Forbes and Sophia Patel each won a singles flight championship on Sunday in the final day of the Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic.

No. 15 Abbey Forbes won the flight 2 crown with a 6-1, 6-1, victory over Maria Rizzolo of Mississipi State. 

No. 21 Fiona Crawley picked up a 6-3, 6-1, win over Wake Forest’s Anna Brylin in the flight 3 title match. 

Patel defeated Monika Dedaj from Georgia Tech, 6-0, 6-3, for the flight 8 championship. 

No. 21 Elizabeth Scotty and No. 31 Reilly Tran did not compete in the singles flight 1 and 5 championship matches, respectively. 

On Saturday, Crawley and Forbes won the flight 2 doubles title.
