CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s tennis team (8-1) returns to the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility as they will take on in-state rival South Carolina on Tuesday at 3 p.m. The live stream for the match is available here.

Clemson and South Carolina have met 58 times in their histories, with the Tigers narrowly trailing the series 27-31. Most recently, the teams met last season in Columbia, where the Gamecocks came away with a tight 4-2 win. Clemson has not defeated its rival since 2015, as the Gamecocks have won eight consecutive matchups.

Clemson is coming off a its third doubleheader sweep of the season this past weekend, as it defeated Elon 6-1 and App State 4-0. Cristina Mayorova has been sensational to start the season, boasting a 8-1 singles record playing primarily from Court 2.

The Tigers as a whole have been incredible, going 41-4 in singles play in dual matches this season. In its eight team wins, Clemson has dropped only one singles match.
