CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s tennis team will head to Virginia for the last two regular season matches of the season. The Tigers will play the No. 7 Cavaliers on Friday, April 14 at 5 p.m. before taking on Virginia Tech on Sunday, April 16 at 12:30 p.m.

Clemson leads the all-time series against Virginia 42-30, but the Cavaliers most recently defeated the Tigers 4-0 in Clemson last season. Virginia Tech leads the series against Clemson, 15-10. The last time the two programs met, the Hokies narrowly defeated the Tigers 4-3 in Clemson in 2022.

Recently, Ryuhei Azuma and Jorge Plans Gonzalez earned ranked wins in the loss against Louisville. Azuma defeated No. 72 Rodrigues on Court 1 with a 6-4, 6-1 win right before Plans Gonzalez registered his highest ranked win of the season on Court 2 against No. 26 Donnet, winning 7-5, 6-2.
