CLEMSON, S.C. βΒ The Clemson menβs tennis team will hit the road to take on Miami at Hard Rock Stadium on Friday at 3 p.m. before heading to Tallahassee to play No. 17 Florida State on Sunday at noon. The Hurricanes will host the Tigers for a dual match at Hard Rock Stadium as a part of the Miami Open to spotlight college tennis. Fans can secure tickets now to view all the collegiate matches by purchasing tickets to Session 21 for $75 which includes access to the collegiate competition on courts 8-12.
Miami narrowly leads the all-time series against the Tigers 31-30. Most recently, the Tigers dropped a 4-2 match to the Canes last season at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility.
Florida State leads the series 25-21 against Clemson, but the Tigers have won the last two matchups, both in an exciting 4-3 fashion.
Ryuhei Azuma recently earned a top-50 win against North Carolinaβs No. 47 Cernoch last Sunday. After a dominant 6-1 first set and being up 5-1 in the second, Cernoch came all the way back to push a tiebreaker. Despite being down in the tiebreak race, Azuma ended up on top, 9-7 to clinch the match.
