CLEMSON, S.C. – TheΒ Clemson men’s tennis team is back home at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility this weekend as they will play FAU and Northwestern. The Tigers will take on the Owls at 2 p.m. on Friday afternoon before they look to take down No. 22 Northwestern on Sunday at noon. The live stream for both matches is available here.

The Tigers and Owls have only met three times in the history of both programs with Clemson leading the all-time series 3-0. The Tigers most recently defeated the Owls in 2020 in a tight match by a score of 4-3. Clemson owns the 4-2 advantage over Northwestern and most recently played them in 2005, resulting in a Tiger 4-0 sweep.

The Tigers boast an impressive 7-2 record thus far in the 2023 campaign. Most recently the Tigers split two matches in Lynchburg, taming Liberty 5-2 and dropping the match to VCU 4-0. The previous week Ryuhei Azuma earned his first career ACC Player of the Week honor as he registered two straight victories on Court 1, taking down South Alabama’s then No. 123 Collard and Nebraska’s then No. 75 Hietaranta.
