CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Seven current and former members of the Virginia men’s tennis team will be competing this week at the Jonathan Fried Pro Challenger, an ATP Challenger 80 tournament taking place Oct. 30- Nov. 6 on the indoor courts of the Boar’s Head Sports Club.
Juniors Jeffrey von der Schulenburg and Chris Rodesch and grad student Ryan Goetz will be competing in singles qualifying on Sunday. Former Cavalier Gianni Ross will also begin play in singles qualifying. Junior Iñaki Montes will play in the main draw. Von der Schulenburg and Alexander Kiefer will play in the doubles main draw as will alum Treat Huey.
