Carlos Alcaraz couldn’t push through and win Sunday’s marquee final in Umag with Jannik Sinner, but the Spaniard continued his progression up the rankings nevertheless.
The 19-year-old rises to No.4 in this week’s rankings, leapfrogging Stefanos Tsitsipas to become the youngest player to hold a top-four ranking since Rafael Nadal in 2005.
Alcaraz, who improves to 42-7 on the season, holds a 35-point advantage over Tsitsipas. Here is how the Top-10 shapes up this week:

Musetti, Baez and Cressy Inch into Career High Spots
Lorenzo Musetti (+1 to 30), Sebastian Baez (+1 to 31) and Maxime Cressy (+2 to 32) eached cracked career highs.
Musetti started the season at 59, Baez at 99 and Cressy at 112. All three have claimed their maiden ATP titles in 2022.
