Select student-athletes from the University of Louisville men’s and women’s tennis teams will participate in a College Tennis Showcase exhibition at the Western & Southern Open pro tournament on Aug. 14 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The UofL women will be represented by Rhea Verma and Andrea Di Palma while Natan Rodrigues and Alex Wesbrooks will take part in the showcase for the Louisville men.
The Louisville players will join individuals from Ohio State, Michigan, Kentucky, Notre Dame and Xavier in a showcase at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 14 as an added highlight to the pro tournament’s qualifying competition. The format will feature men’s and women’s doubles along with mixed doubles, something not typically seen in collegiate competition.
The showcase will take place at Porsche Court, a sunken court located just north of Center Court and adjacent to Partner Plaza.
