LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men’s tennis team will travel to San Diego, Calif. to compete at the ITA National Fall Championships from Nov. 2-6.
Senior Fabien Salle, sophomore Natan Rodrigues, senior David Mizrahi, freshman Will Mayew, and senior Etienne Donnet will all be making the trip for the Cards.
The duo of Salle and Rodrigues earned a spot after winning the doubles championship at the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals, defeating Mizrahi and Mayew, who also earned a spot following the finals appearance. Salle also claimed the singles championship, defeating Rodrigues in what was an All-Louisville final. Donnet was named an alternate after falling short of the finals at the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals.
As a tandem, Salle and Rodrigues have secured 14 doubles victories through the fall season, While Mizrahi and Mayew have tallied six wins.
Salle also leads the team in singles victories this fall, posting an 11-2 record to this point. Rodrigues has secured 10 wins, while Mayew and Donnet each have seven.
