Cards Advance in Singles and Doubles in ITA All-American Championships Qualifying Draw


TULSA, Okla. – The University of Louisville men’s tennis team posted three wins in the qualifying draw of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American Championships on Monday at the University of Tulsa.
 
In singles, senior Fabien Salle, No. 84 in the ITA singles rankings, topped Oklahoma’s No. 92 Mark Mandlik to advance to Tuesday’s round of 64.
 
Salle teamed with sophomore Natan Rodrigues to pick a pair of doubles wins. The 48th-ranked duo outlasted Georgia’s Blake Croyder and Philip Henning 6-4, 4-6, 10-6 and went on to beat SMU’s Jack Winkler and Julian Steinhausen 6-2, 6-4 to reach Tuesday’s round of 16.
