FORT WORTH, Texas — University of Missouri tennis continues competition at the TCU Jae Foundation Fall Open on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Texas Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center, hosted by TCU.
The Tigers open day three of competition with doubles play against Notre Dame and closed out play with another round of doubles matches against Cincinnati. The senior-freshman duo, Inah Canete and Korina Roso battled to the tiebreak in their match against Carrie Beckman and Esther Vyrlan, ultimately grabbing the win, 7-6 (5).
Moving into the second round of doubles action, Canete and Roso add another victory on the day with a 6-4 win over Cincincatti’s Callie Flanagan and Sakurako Watanabe. Mizzou will be back in action for the final day of competition in the Lone Star State on Sunday, Nov. 3, facing off SMU in both doubles and singles play.
UP NEXT
After closing the fall schedule in Fort Worth, the Tigers will open their spring slate with the FIU Hidden Duals in Miami, Fla. The Black and Gold will begin play on Jan. 9 and wrap up competition on Jan. 12 at PayCargo Tennis Complex.
