The Bulldogs boasted a 3.78 team GPA for the year, tied for the highest in team history. Women’s tennis had the highest GPA of any sport at Mississippi State for the year.

Additionally, seven members of the MSU roster this past season were named ITA Scholar Athletes by maintaining a grade point average of 3.5 or better.

Emmanouela Antonaki, Maddie Bemisderfer and Gia Cohen all attained a 4.0 GPA for the year. Maddie McKee reigned in a 3.97 for her senior year, while Maria Rizzolo collected a 3.87. Chloé Cirotte and Emily Surcey were also selected as scholar athletes.

Antonaki, the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, was also named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American first team and earned her master’s degree in sport administration in May. It is the fourth time Antonaki has been honored as an ITA Scholar-Athlete in her career.

Cirotte earned the ITA Scholar Athlete honor back-to-back years, while this is the first honor for McKee.
