BOULDER – The Colorado Buffaloes women’s tennis team is geared up to kick off its spring season at the highly anticipated ITA Kickoff Weekend, taking place at Stanford from January 26-29, 2024.
The Cardinal are one of 15 host sites determined by the final rankings for the 2022-23 season. The Kickoff Weekend allows coaches to draft where they want to play among the 15 sites, with the draft order determined again by the final rankings.
Ranked No. 62 in the final poll, the Buffs will take on the host and No. 5-ranked Cardinal in the first round. The other side of the bracket will feature Maryland (No. 49) and UNLV (No. 57).
Each team that wins the bracket at each of the 15 sites will advance to ITA National Team Indoor Championships, generally held in mid-February.
The remainder of the Buffs spring schedule should be available by late summer. The fall schedule was released earlier in June.
