BLACKSBURG, Va. – Selma Cadar and Mary Brumfield advanced to the 2022 ITA Division I Women’s Doubles Atlantic Regional Championship match on Sunday after beating Old Dominion’s team of Alexandra Viktorovich and Allison Isaacs, 6-1, 6-4. Cadar and Brumfield will play Delaware’s team of Adel-Byanu Abidullina and Eliza Askarova at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 24 at Virginia Tech for the doubles crown.
Cadar and Brumfield are seeking to become the first Maryland doubles pair to win the ITA Atlantic Regional Championship since Alexandra Stanova and Kristina Hovsepyan won the event in 2016.
