ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Purdue men’s tennis team picked up a wins in the opening rounds of singles and doubles on Friday at the Big Ten Fall Championships.
Tomasz Dudek opened the singles first round with a 7-6(2), 6-3 over Indiana’s Mac Rogers.
Michal Wozniak and Daniel Labrador knocked off a combo team of Rudi Christiansen from Nebraska and Reece Yakubov from Ohio State with an 8-4 decision.
Despite the early round victories, Purdue was not able to put players in the third round of singles and doubles. The Boilermakers will continue play this weekend in consolation rounds.
