DURHAM – On Saturday, the sixth-ranked Duke women’s tennis team will host seventh-ranked NC State in the final home regular season match for the Blue Devils this season.  The match is slated to start at 11 a.m., and will be contested in the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center on campus.

Prior to the match at approximately 10:45 a.m., the program will honor a pair of Blue Devils that will play in their final home regular season match – Georgia Drummy and Cameron Morra.

Drummy, a native of Dublin, Ireland, joined the Duke squad in the fall of 2020 and has been a key component of the Blue Devil success over the last three seasons.  She is a two-time Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American, 2022 All-ACC First Team selection and 2021 All-ACC Second Team honoree.  Drummy earned ACC Tournament MVP a season ago as she helped lead Duke to the ACC Championship in Rome, Ga.  She has compiled an 81-30 singles record and 67-31 doubles ledger over her career.

Not only has Drummy made an impact on the court, she has been a solid student-athlete as well earning All-ACC Academic Team honors in 2022 and 2021, ITA Scholar-Athlete in 2021 and a two-time selection for the ACC Honor Roll.

After playing at a school just down Tobacco Road the previous four seasons, Morra joined the Blue Devils this past summer attending the Duke Fuqua School of Business.  One of the top collegiate tennis players over the last five seasons, Morra has registered some very impressive numbers and accolades.

Morra is a three-time ITA All-American in singles and two-time All-American in doubles, a three-time All-ACC selection, the 2019 ACC Freshman of the Year, 2019 ACC Championship MVP and we could go on.  Since joining the Blue Devils, Morra has posted a 19-12 record in singles and 29-4 mark in doubles.  Over her five seasons in collegiate tennis, she has accumulated a 106-45 singles record and a staggering 131-35 doubles mark.

In the classroom, Morra has been equally impressive earning All-ACC Academic Team honors in 2022 and 2021, ACC Honor Roll accolades four times and ITA Scholar-Athlete in 2021 and 2022.
