Blue Devils Remain No. 10 Nationally; Beck Moves Back to No. 2

DURHAM – In the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Rankings that were released on Tuesday, Duke remained No. 10 overall in the team listing, while senior Chloe Beck returned to No. 2 nationally in singles.

The Blue Devils boast a 15-2 overall and 5-1 ACC mark as Duke gets set to host Northwestern on Wednesday, March 22.

North Carolina remained No. 1 followed by Texas A&M, Michigan, Georgia, Pepperdine, Iowa State, Ohio State, NC State, Virginia and Duke in the top 10.

Beck, who owns a 23-3 overall and 6-0 ACC ledger this season, moved back to No. 2 in singles, which equals the highest ranking of her collegiate career.  She is riding an 18-match singles winning streak on the year, while also boasting a 21-match regular season win streak versus ACC foes.  Beck is also two wins shy of reaching the 100-win mark for her career.

Duke also features Emma Jackson (31) and Cameron Morra (70) in the singles rankings.  Beck and Morra, who have combined to produce a 24-4 overall mark this season, are now No. 32 in doubles.  The tandem has won four straight ACC matches and are 5-1 in the league on the year.

Jackson, who hails from La Grange Park, Ill., has collected a 17-8 singles record along with a 4-2 mark in ACC play.   Morra, a product of Rockville, Md., owns a 15-11 singles ledger, including winning two out of the last three matches.

Duke will close non-conference action Wednesday against Northwestern in a match slated to be played at Ambler Tennis Stadium at 4 p.m.
