GREENVILLE, S.C. – On Saturday, the Duke women’s tennis team continued to compete in the Debbie Southern Fall Classic. The Blue Devil tandem of Cameron Morra and Chloe Beck highlighted the action by taking home the Doubles Flight 1 Championship with an 8-6 victory over North Carolina’s Reilly Tran and Carson Tanguilig.
In singles action, Duke’s 70th-ranked Iuliia Bryzgalova advanced with a 6-3, retired win over Jessica Dawson of Furman. Both Beck and Brianna Shvets dropped tough, three-set matches to Mahak Jain of Georgia Tech and Bridget Stammel of Vanderbilt, respectively.
Play will conclude Sunday with singles action.
