DURHAM – As the Duke women’s tennis team awaits the NCAA Tournament selection show next week, the Blue Devils were listed No. 6 nationally in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings, as announced on Tuesday.
Duke features a 22-4 overall record with seven wins over top-30 ranked opponents under the direction of head coach Jamie Ashworth.
In the latest top-10, North Carolina, Texas A&M, Georgia, NC State, Michigan, Duke, Pepperdine, Stanford, Texas and Ohio State are listed.
In singles, Chloe Beck is No. 5, Emma Jackson is No. 40, Georgia Drummy is No. 61 and Cameron Morra (81). The Blue Devils feature three doubles teams ranked – Beck/ Morra (49), Beck/Ellie Coleman (66) and Jackson/Karolina Berankova (73).
The NCAA Tournament selection show will be aired on Monday, May 1 at 6 p.m., live on NCAA.com. Potential NCAA Tournament First and Second Rounds dates would be May 5 and 6 on campus sites.
