CLEMSON, S.C. – For the second consecutive-season, senior Ryuhei Azuma has been named to the All-ACC Singles Third Team as announced by the conference office on Thursday.
This season, Azuma has recorded 12 singles wins for the Tigers as he primarily played on court one and occasionally played on court two for Clemson. The senior is 8-8 on court one and is undefeated on court two as he is 4-0 in the spring campaign playing number two. The Tiger was consistently ranked within the top 125 as he is currently ranked No. 94 in the nation in singles.
Azuma also competed in doubles this season as he 2-3 this season while playing alongside partners Wissam Abderrahman and Marko Mesarovic.
The senior has now earned back-to-back conference honors as the Ishikawa, Japan native was named to the All-ACC Third Team last season as he was the only Tiger to earn All-ACC honors in the 2022-23 season. Last season, Azuma became the first Tiger to earn All-ACC honors since 2019.
