TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women’s tennis team will host the annual Roberta Alison Fall Classic Friday and Saturday at the Alabama Tennis Stadium. Competition between nine different teams will begin at 9 a.m. CT on both days of the tournament.

The Tournament
- Alabama welcomes nine teams to Tuscaloosa for the two-day tournament
- The Crimson Tide will compete against players from East Tennessee State Indiana, Michigan State, Ole Miss, South Alabama, Stetson, Troy, Tulane and UAB
- The tournament features eight singles draws and four doubles draws
- The event will begin with doubles matches Friday at 9 a.m. CT
- This weekend marks the 34rd time Alabama has hosted the Roberta Alison Fall Classic.
Last Time Out
- Alabama competed in the ITA Southern Regionals Oct. 13-17
- Petra Sedlackova advanced to the singles semifinals round for the second consecutive year
- Loudmilla Bencheikh also performed well as she reached the Round 16 in singles play
- Sedlockova and Anna Parkhomenko paired together to make it to the semifinals in doubles
- Doubles duo Ola Pitak and Kasia Pitak started off in the qualifying round, before they won their way into the main draw of competition
