Alabama Women’s Tennis Closes Final Day At Alabama Four-In-The-Fall

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – For the second day in a row, Kasia Pitak paced the Alabama women’s tennis team at the Alabama Four-In-The-Fall. The UA graduate student finished the tournament on Sunday with her second win in singles action to lead the Crimson Tide throughout the three-day event.

Pitak recorded a singles win on Sunday in straight sets against UAB’s Maggie White. She went 6-2 in the opening set before following with a 6-4 second-set score to close the match.

The Crimson Tide only competed in singles action on Sunday, after the doubles round was moved to Saturday afternoon.

The Tide’s Petra Sedlackova and Loudmilla Bencheikh will open the ITA All-American Championships in the qualifying draw of singles in Cary, N.C., Monday. Additionally, Sedlackova and Ola Pitak begin play in the qualifying round of doubles on Monday.
