TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –– Alabama men’s tennis head coach George Husack announced the addition of Matic Dimic Monday. Dimic will join the Tide in the January of 2024.
“We are fortunate to have Matic join our program. He was very diligent and driven during the recruiting process, which made our interest and excitement in him grow strong. He has competed in numerous professional level events for the past several years, while also earning his undergraduate degree in a non-college, tennis-based system back in Slovenia. Now he has the opportunity to continue his studies and tennis development in a well-supported environment here at Alabama and in the Southeastern Conference. His maturity, experience, character and game will make an immediate impact to our program.”
