BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas Guido Marson and Kenner Taylor of the Texas A&M men’s tennis team received Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic honors, the organization announced Monday.

Marson, who was a 2023 SEC All-Tournament Team member, boasts a 3.77 cumulative GPA while working towards his master’s degree in accounting, and Taylor, the Aggies’ SEC Community Service Team honoree, held a 3.85 GPA in business honors and finance in his graduating year.

The pair played an important role for the Maroon & White all season, with Marson tallying 13 dual match singles wins and Taylor being tied for second on the team in total doubles wins. Both players were critical in the teams’ advancement to the semifinals of the SEC Tournament, with an upset win over South Carolina.

In order to receive the ITA All-Academic honor student-athletes had to maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) throughout the 2022-23 academic year.
