Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving Named Scholar All-America Teams – University of South Carolina Athletics

Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams have been selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as Scholar All-America Teams.

In total, 722 teams from 417 institutions earned the prestigious honor for the Spring 2024 semester. The teams, representing a total of 17,162 athletes were chosen based on their academic performance during the specified semester.

To earn the recognition, teams had to tally a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. South Carolina’s teams make up two of the 563 programs who achieved a GPA of 3.30 or above.

The Gamecock women’s team, representing 49 athletes posted a 3.65 GPA while the 28 men’s representatives posted a 3.56 GPA.
