Vanderbilt Men's Tennis | Panarin Falls in First Round

STILLWATER, Okla. – In the NCAA Singles Championships Round of 64, Danil Panarin was bested by Ohio State’s Justin Boulais, 7-5, 6-3, on Monday in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

In a close first set, No. 45 Panarin trailed Boulais by only a pair of games. Panarin, named the 2024 SEC Freshman of the Year, fought back in the second set, but No. 34 Boulais pulled ahead, defeating the Commodore in two sets.

Panarin finishes his debut collegiate season at Vanderbilt ranked among the top 50 men’s players in the nation after posting a record of 14-12.
