USC Men's Tennis Falls in Non-Conference Bout Against Stanford

Men’s Tennis | March 10, 2024

PALO ALTO, Calif.  – USC men’s tennis (5-7) drops its second-straight match, as it was swept in a non-conference dual against Stanford (7-4) on Sunday, Mar. 10 at the Taube Family Tennis Center.

The Trojans couldn’t find any sort of momentum in this dual, as they dropped all eight matches (including two doubles) that finished. The formally ranked doubles team of graduate transfer’s Niroop Vallabhaneni and Samuel Rubell reconvened in their first dual match for the doubles pair. While they didn’t finish, they were ahead and were on track to be the lone winner for USC.

The Trojans return to action next week as they host TCU and Texas in a doubleheader weekend as the Longhorns come to town for a 5 p.m. match on Friday, Mar. 15, and the Horn frogs head to Los Angeles for a 1 p.m. dual on Sunday, Mar. 17 at Marks Tennis Stadium.
