Clemson, S.C. – The Hokies dropped a close ACC match, 4-3, on the road to Clemson on Friday, March 1.
The Hokies started strong, collecting the doubles point over the Tigers. Charlotte Cartledge and Özlem Uslu battled back from down 3-1 to win their match 6-4. Katie Andreini and Dariya Radulova clinched the doubles point for Tech, with a 6-4 win. Semra Aksu and Erika Cheng dropped a close 6-4 match on Court 2.
Aksu kept her fine form going with another win in singles, this time on Court 5. She swept Sophia Hatton 6-4, 6-2. Uslu picked up a big win in singles as she swept Cristina Mayorova 6-4, 6-3 on Court 2.
