BOSTON, M.A. – The Clemson Tigers (7-3, 0-1 ACC) are headed to Boston College (4-4, 0-2 ACC) to take on the Eagles in the second conference matchup of the season. This will be the 18th meeting between the two programs, with the Tigers leading the series 13-4. Clemson last beat Boston College in 2021, 6-1.
“Tomorrow will be another opportunity for our team,” head coach Boomer Saia said. “After a long match yesterday, our group will need gritty responses. This week, we have had great attitudes and energy that will help us be ready.”
Clemson is coming off of a 4-3 thriller that came down to a third-set tiebreaker on court one singles. The Tigers ultimately fell, but Sophia Hatton and Jenna Thompson shined in their singles wins.
Boston College is 0-2 in conference play after losses from Syracuse 5-2 and Georgia Tech 5-2.
