URBANA, Ill. – Illinois remained perfect at Atkins Tennis Center this season, securing a 4-0 home victory over Ole Miss on Sunday afternoon. The win saw the Fighting Illini women’s tennis team take down the Rebels for the first time in program history and snap a four-match skid against Ole Miss.
The Orange and Blue improved to 5-2 after the triumph, while the Rebels fell to 3-2 following their second road loss of the campaign. The Orange and Blue now sit at 3-2 against Power-Five opposition.
