SAN DIEGO, Calif. –Graduate students Michael Heller and Andrew Zhang advanced to the semifinals of the consolation bracket on Friday after another win at the ITA National Fall Championships at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif.
The duo defeated 5-8 seeded Lukas Engelhardt and Nikola Slavic of Ole Miss in the consolation quarterfinals 6-4, 6-4 to continue in the tournament.
The pair next faces Jay Friend and Colton Smith of Arizona in the consolation semifinals on Saturday at 3 p.m. PT
