Two Rebels Set to Compete at ITF W15 Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. – Ludmila Kareisová and Emma Kette will represent Ole Miss at the ITF Pro Circuit in Jackson, Tenn., starting October 16.

The ITF W15 Jackson event features a 32-participant qualifying draw feeding into a 32-participant main draw in singles. The hardcourt event takes place on the campus of the University School of Jackson. Kareisová is the eighth highest-ranked player in singles qualifying, ranked No. 150 nationally. She is also ranked as the No. 42 collegiate student-athlete in the ITA Preseason Rankings.

Kareisová has started off the 2023 fall collegiate season going 4-4 in singles. The junior, her last time out, advanced to the quarterfinals at the ITA South Region Championships. She is looking to keep that momentum going in Jackson.

Kette goes into the ITF pro tournament, hoping for a spark to her fall season. The Germany native aims for her first singles win of her sophomore campaign.

Qualifying for the main draw will occur on Monday, with the main draw beginning on Tuesday and concluding on Saturday.

Tournament draws will be released prior to Monday morning.
