ORLANDO, FLA.—University of North Carolina graduate student Ryan Seggerman, an at-large selection to the 2023 NCAA Singles Championship, won his first-round match on Monday morning at the USTA National Campus.
Seggerman beat SMU’s Adam Neff, 6-4, 7-6 (4) in a 9 a.m. match on Monday. He moves on to Tuesday’s Round of 32, where he will face either No. 2 seed Ethan Quinn of Georgia or Luc Fomba of TCU.
