DURHAM – The 2023 ACC Women’s Tennis Championship bracket was released on Sunday evening with Duke earning the No. 2 seed and will play on Friday, April 21 at 12:30 p.m., at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.
The Blue Devils will face the winner of the seventh-seeded Georgia Tech (12-8, 6-6) vs. 10th-seeded Syracuse (11-9, 4-9) match, which will be contested on Thursday, April 20 at 12:30 p.m.
North Carolina was seeded No. 1, followed by Duke (2), NC State (3), Virginia (4), Miami (5), Florida State (6), Georgia Tech (7), Notre Dame (8), Wake Forest (9), Syracuse (10), Boston College (11), Clemson (12), Virginia Tech (13) and Louisville (14).
If Duke were to advance past the quarterfinals on Friday, the Blue Devils would have a 10 a.m., semifinal match on Saturday live on ACC Network Extra. The championship will be contested on Sunday, April 23 at 10 a.m., on ACC Network Extra.
Head coach Jamie Ashworth and the Blue Devils have turned in an impressive 22-3 overall and 11-2 ACC record on the season. Duke is the reigning ACC Champions and will be vying for its 19th ACC Championship.
