COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri tennis starts a five-match homestand this weekend against No. 50 Alabama and No. 12 Auburn.
The Tigers and Crimson Tide square off at 2 p.m. CT on Friday, April 7 at the Country Club of Missouri ahead of a matchup with Auburn on Sunday, April 9 at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
The first 100 fans in attendance at Friday’s match will receive a free Mizzou wall flag.
Mizzou (10-12, 1-9 Southeastern Conference) is looking to break out of a five-match skid. No. 1 singles player Mae Canete moved back into the ITA National Rankings this week, checking in at No. 89.
Alabama (11-8, 4-5 SEC) meet for the 11th time with the Crimson Tide leading the all-time series 8-2.
Auburn, who plays at Arkansas on Friday afternoon, is 16-5, 6-3 in SEC play and enters on a two-match winning streak. The two Tigers meet for the 10th time on Sunday with Auburn earning the win in the previous nine matchups.
