Martin Borisiouk commits to NC State tennis team

RALEIGH The NC State program will have an addition to its roster in January.

Martin Borisiouk, of Belarus, has committed to the Wolfpack and will be available for the spring 2023 season.

“I’m happy and proud to be a part of the Wolfpack,” Borisiouk said. “I can’t wait to share the court with the guys under the guidance of excellent coaches.”

Borisiouk will have four years of eligibility.

Borisiouk has a career-high ATP ranking of 981 in singles and 841 in doubles.

“We are excited for Martin to join our team,” head coach Kyle Spencer said. “Martin has been tremendous in the recruiting process and he will assimilate nicely into our group.”

Borisiouk was a member of the Belarus Davis Cup team.

“His high-level international experience, including Davis Cup, will add tremendous value to our burgeoning program,” Spencer said.

NC State had four players in the final ITA rankings to end their fall campaign.
