STARKVILLE, Miss. – The University of Louisville women’s tennis team wrapped up their fall season at the final day of the John Cade Invitational hosted by Mississippi State in Starkville, Miss.
The Cards finished 2-4 in singles against Louisiana Tech. Cici Xin beat Tiffani Nash 6-3, 1-6, 7-5. Tyra Richardson defeated Alexia Romero 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 6-4. Rhea Verma fell to Leonie Schuknecht 6-3, 6-7 (2-7), 6-2. Jamilah Snells lost to Olga Bienzobas 6-0, 6-1. Sasha Gorchanyuk fell to Ana Rodrigues 6-2, 6-1. Joy Callwood lost to Valentina Vasquez 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.
UofL will be back in action in the spring.
