MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – The Penn State women’s tennis team concluded their run at the Martha Thorn Invitational.
Singles
The Nittany Lions only participated in singles matches against Louisville on the day.
Karly Friedland gave a tough fighting during her match against Rhea Verma, but ultimately lost by a match score of 6-2, 4-6, [10-7]
Ioana Gheorghita fell to Chunxi Xin 6-2, 6-1.
Alina Lebedeva was unsuccessful in close match against Maria Campos 0-6, 6-4, [10-6]
The Blue and White will continue their fall schedule at the OSU Invite on Oct. 14 – Oct. 16.
