Alabama Women’s Tennis Concludes Action At The ITA All-American Championships


CARY, N.C. – Members of the Alabama women’s tennis team concluded action at the ITA All-American Championships on Tuesday at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.

Petra Sedlackova competed in the qualifying Round 32 against Arizona State’s Dominika Turkovic. Sedlackova took the first set, 6-3, and battled to a second-set tie, but lost the tiebreaker at 7-6 (4). She would fall 6-2 in the final set.

Loudmilla Bencheikh closed singles competition, falling in the qualifying consolation round. Bencheikh competed against Duke’s Breanna Shvets, dropping 6-2, 6-4 in the match.
