TULSA, Okla. – Michigan State men’s tennis freshman Ozan Baris and junior Graydon Lair are set to compete at the ITA Men’s All-American Championships, beginning Monday, Oct. 3. Baris will compete in the qualifying singles round and then pair up with Lair to compete in the qualifying round of doubles. The matches will take place at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa.
Baris, who received a wild card entry into the tournament, will face No. 73 Trent Bryde of Georgia in the qualifying round. The winner of Monday’s match will advance to the main draw singles beginning Thursday. Baris’ match is set for 9:45 a.m. CT/10:45 a.m. ET.
Baris and Lair will face Ole Miss’ Nikola Slavic and Lucas Englehardt in qualifying doubles, who sit at No. 46 in the ITA Preseason rankings, for a spot in the main draw doubles play. The match will begin at 2:30 CT/3:30 CT.
