Johns to Compete at ATP Charleston Challenger

DURHAM – Senior Garrett Johns will compete unattached at the ATP Charleston Challenger beginning Sunday at the Live to Play (LTP) Mount Pleasant facility in Mount Pleasant, S.C.

Johns is in the singles qualifying round and will face off against Martin Damm on Court One on Sunday. If he wins, he will advance to the second round and face the winner of the Tennys Sandgren-Nathan Ponwith match.

Should Johns win his second contest, he will become a qualifier into the singles main draw, which is set to kick off on Monday.

Rookie Pedro Rodenas will serve as an alternate for the event.
