Two singles players and two doubles pairs secure ITA rankings for fall season.
Jeremy Jin topped the rankings for the Gators at No. 41 in the singles category. Jin posted an 8-4 record to close out his fall campaign. The sophomore also recorded three wins over nationally ranked opponents.
Henry Jefferson is the only other Gator ranked in singles sitting at No. 106 for the ITA’s final fall rankings after being unranked in the preseason rankings. Jefferson ends his fall tour season 9-2 and looks to continue his success in the spring.
Jefferson is also ranked alongside Tanapatt Nirundorn in the doubles category. The duo landed at No. 16 after a successful fall season. The pair won the Doubles Title at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships back in October and clinched their spot in the NCAA Tournament. Nirundorn and Jefferson concluded their fall season 6-3 overall and 3-1 against ranked doubles pairs.
Kevin Edengren and Jin also found themselves ranked coming in at No. 76. The pair notched a 3-1 overall record including one win over a nationally ranked duo.
National rankings consist of the Top 125 singles rankings as well as the Top 125 doubles rankings. These rankings will be the final singles and doubles rankings until February 5, while the first Division I Team Ranking will be released on January 6.
