TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) honored the UCLA men’s tennis team and nine Bruins Monday, when it announced the 2022 Division I Men’s ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Teams.

All-Academic Team accolades are doled out annually to groups holding grade-point averages (GPAs) of at least 3.2 for the 2021-22 academic year. Billy Martin‘s last three teams have each earned recognition.

Jeffrey Fradkin, Eric Hahn, Alexander Hoogmartens, Blaine Hovenier, Karl Lee, Timothy Li, Bryce Pereira, Giacomo Revelli and Mathew Tsolakyan were deemed Scholar-Athletes after each turned in a GPA of at least 3.5 for 2021-22.

Hahn, Hovenier and Tsolakyan were each honored for the third consecutive year. The trio previously qualified for the 2020 and 2021 lists.

Li made it back-to-back appearances in his second year.

Redshirt senior Pereira became a first-time Scholar-Athlete. Also making their debuts were redshirt freshman Fradkin and freshmen Hoogmartens, Lee and Revelli.
