Previously On- Last spring, the Wildcats traveled to Washington, taking on the Cougars in the first match of the weekend and following up with a match against Huskies. The Huskies led Arizona 4-3 after Castillo forced her match into three sets but fell short against No.77 Olsen. Arizona was able to secure a win against Washington State 5-2, beginning a winning streak against the Cougars.
In the Rankings- Arizona remains ranked in the top 50 at No.43, and Reece Carter represents Arizona in the singles poll at the No.111 position. Washington entered the top 25 in the most recent poll, checking in at No.25. Washington holds two individual rankings with No.83 Alexia Jacobs and No. 125 Astrid Olsen. The Huskies also make an appearance in the doubles rankings with No.56 Alexia Jacobs/Astrid Olsen and No.73 Karly Friedland/Olivia Dorner.
